Southern Roots Vegan Bakery is a black-owned family-run company, owned and operated by husband and wife duo, Marcus and Cara Pitts. This online bakery was born out of Caraâs love for baking and Marcusâ desire to change to a plant-based diet. Together, they both created a bakery that focuses on their favorite desserts and Southern classics that are so good you wonât believe theyâre vegan!

Our original sprinkle sugar cookie recipe was a farmerâs market favorite, but you know how we love to mix it up in the kitchen. This new plant-based remix, made with the perfect amount vegan butter, sugar and lots and lots of sprinkles is the best because it reminds us of our favorite sugar cookies mashed with traditional birthday cake we loved as a kid.
